Big Thicket Art Privacy Policy & Notice of Intended Use of User Contributed Content

The term “Artwork” used herein is defined as any and all submitted content to the Harrison Family Foundation and Big Thicket Art to include, but not limited to, photos, videos, blog articles, and all competition entry pieces.

In general, by submitting your artwork and from guardian permission, you are allowing The Harrison Family Foundation and Big Thicket Art to publish images of your work for marketing purposes, display it on our websites and social media sites, in digital products such as ebooks, and in printed materials to sell them, as well as the original artwork, for fundraising purposes. The artist is agreeing to give The Harrison Family Foundation and Big Thicket Art the rights to publish the artwork and/or use the artwork in commercial and/or non-commercial applications for fundraising and marketing purposes. We will make every effort to give credit when reprinting.  For any misprinting, please contact

The Harrison Family Foundation and Big Thicket Art assumes all submitted content is original and is the work of the contributor (aka “User”), with all rights granted therein. All artwork must be original – you cannot use third-party artwork or materials in your work – this means that you cannot use anything that was created by someone else (especially if it is trademarked or restricted by the original artist). Any work that is not original will be disqualified and any monies and/or prizes, if any have been awarded, must be returned. If you are aware of any violations of this policy, please immediately contact

The Harrison Family Foundation/Big Thicket Art is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the contributor and will not become involved in copyright disputes.

Our site uses cookies to improve your experience while you’re visiting us and to recognize repeat visitors where that information provides a different experience. Cookies are electronic “tags” placed on your browser by our servers. Your browser then stores data on your computer about your visit to our site.

How cookies help you
